Airstream trailer guns

We travel the lower US in Winter but our non-"airstream" is 28 feet long with tip outs and a lot of room so all my guns go with me. I am diligent about making sure my various permits cover the states we will be going through. Since most of the East coast is just as cold as MN the NY etc is no concern. Pretty much have to stay out of SC and IL on the way down. Otherwise CA and NV are also off the list on the other end. Everything else is good. Then you also have to brush up on the laws of each as far as where you can't carry etc. IE TX you can't carry where there is any liquor, even off sale liquor stores.

Steinbeck's Travel Guns

Remember Steinbeck's Travels with Charlie? He took along a couple of long guns. The only one I can remember was a 223.

Live well, be safe.

Might want to brush up on your laws again because thats not true. In TX you can't carry in an establishment that derives over 50% of it's revenue from on site consumption of liquor/alchohol sales. Examples: a bar with a 51% sign posted is a no go, the bar at Chili's, TGI Fridays, Red Robin, etc. you're good to go, liquor stores (unless posted 30.06) you are absolutely good to go because they don't allow onsite consumption of the alchohol at the liquor store.
