9mm for $300? Input please

Not to pile on but...

Ruger P95. Might be closer to $350.00, at least it is here in the Atlanta area.

In terms of bang for the buck, P95.

Like everyone already said: Used Glocks, Ruger P95, Kahrs are all good. Shop around and haggle. You can get a quality 9mm in your price range. Good luck.

I'll also say SIG P6 and the surplus Walther P-1s. There are still some out there, you just have to look. I've had mine for years and it is one of the best shooters I own.

Nice used pistol

Check CDNN investments dallas Texas they always have some close outs and used police trade in guns good luck. find a ffl to order from cdnn

I'm a little disappointed in my P1. Does not like lead bullets at all.

Sig P6 (225). Hands down. I have one from Gander Mountain. Excellent. Just excellent! They are police trade-in handguns and are very very well worth the money!

Now I'm a Glock man myself, but for a CCW piece, the P6/225 is good as any.

I just put my second Ruger P95 on layaway yesterday .

It was on sale used for $225.

Accurate, reliable, almost zero recoil and almost impossible to wear out.

Yes,it's clunky.

Yes,it won't win any gun beauty contests.

Would I bet my life on the fact that it would be ready to go and fire every time if I ever need it too?

Yes.

I have to agree with the ruger p95 i own one and also own a ruger p85 mkII and both are great guns for the price i bought the ruger p95 about 3 weeks ago for 329 plus tax here in austin tx

The German police surplus Sig P6 is a hands down winner for value and quality...

Nasty, as I've posted above I agree.

But guys, a friend of mine bought a Walther P1 from Gander Mountian last week. $302 out the door. Before he bought it I disassembled both of the ones they had. The one he bought had basicly zero wear on the inside.

Well I cleaned it up for him, showed him how it disasslembeld and how it worked. We went to the range. It ran perfect. I dunno yet about JHPs but I suspect worst upon worst the Remington 9BP will do fine if all he can use is standard velocity 9mm JHPs.

At 7 yards it shot bascily one hole groups.

Now I still feel the Sig P6 is the better one, but the Walther P1 isn't bad at all. The workmanship is great and it works.

I don't know why the Bersas get no love. They are great little handguns and the price is right. This is my CCW piece and I trust it because it's a great performer.
