I think the complaints about the capacity being too much for the relative power of the cartridge are hilarious. Give the cartridge a break, the .38 special was a black powder cartridge originally, i.e. lots of powder with fairly low pressures. The fact that it is still even being discussed as a viable cartridge says a lot for a 114 year old cartridge.
