I don't know how many of you are familiar with Dr Dimaio but he's just a pathologist. The only people he has seen shoot are those laying dead in front of him. I have not meet one pathologist who does not claim to be an expert in something.
A pathologist is an expert in and presumably board certified. Doctors are, by training, men of science.

You should also review Dr. Fackler's work. He was an Army surgeon, not a pathologist.

At least they attempt to get the facts correct
That is debatable, but I'm not going to belabor the point.

Anyway I put much more credit on Sanow/Marshal. At least they attempt to get the facts correct and have actually done police work. But people continue to read what some doctor writes like it is actually true and don't think that it might not be. Most of what a doctor writes could be duplicated by a college student preparing a final exam!!!
Credible or profitable? Marshall and Sanow would like you to buy their three fictional "Stopping Power" books...

As a non-expert critic it just seems that the energy of a round has to go somewhere. So I would assume that two rounds which penetrate the same distance and maybe even deform the exact same amount - where does the energy go?

Maybe I'm searching for results which reinforce my gut feeling on the matter - which is not the right way to conduct research - but just wondering?

Where does that energy go? It must do something?
