2013 What did you buy and keep.

Added only a Mossberg 151-M, and sold or traded nothing. The 151 was the first in two years. I'm slowing down and being real choozy.

Only firearm i bought was my AR that i assembled. Didn't sell any either. This year i am thinking about possibly getting an AK, or maybe a 10mm or 44 Mag handgun. Still have to do more research though.

Well in 2013 and the beginning of 2014 I sold all of my semi-automatic handguns. No more semi-automatics for me..

Replaced them with several .357 magnums a SA .44 Special and a .45Colt.

Hmmm, in 2013 I bought:

Boberg XR9-S - one of the "coolest" modern guns I own
Kahr K9 - Classy Classic in brushed nickel - nice gun for the price.
Colt Mustang - First production run, one of the first 50 ever made... came with genuine ivory grips, just couldn't pass it up.:)

I really don't know what, if anything, I will acquire in 2014. There are a few antique guns I want - a particular Luger, a particular 1911, and a couple of others. One '80's vintage gun I want. And, as far as modern guns go, I would like to buy a S&W 627 2" .357. If I ever find "great" prices on a KRISS, Tavor, MSAR, or PTR-91, I'd buy, but it would have to be a deal I couldn't refuse.

If I were smart, I'd be buying several X-S drum magazines and good quality extended pistol magazines.

It would have done me no good in 2013 to buy guns that there was no ammo for, so...

I invested heavily in reloading but didn't pay premiums. I had a buddy move to California and had to get out of the Class3 game, and he sold me his Dillon 550. 9mm/.45/.223/.308/7mmMauser... and have aquired all the goodies including a SuperSuage and the big motor Case Trimmer.

I've managed to stash about 20k primers, 20lbs of powder, and a few thousand bullets in all the calibers I shoot. In a few months, I should be good to go for the better part of a decade as far as ammo goes. What I really need is for quality self-defense pistol bullets to come back in stock so I can start start my SHTF stockpile. Plinkin' ammo and rifle rounds I can make aplenty, but the good pistol stuff is still nowhere to be found.

I've also resolved to be a part of the .22lr ammo shortage and buy as much as I can as I find it. Am purchasing for the unknown future.

Late 2014, I'll probably be back in the "gun-buying" business... need a few .22lr semi-auto's for plinkin'/trainin', at least a couple more HD shotguns

Sold Taurus PT1911 (Awesome Gun but 1911s should be made in America)
Para P10 (Thank God I found someone dumber than me to buy this hunk of crap.)

Bought Stoeger M3500. (great semiauto. Lacks refinement but eats everything and begs for more) Henry 22 Lever. (why not....) TC Encore Pro Hunter. (Expensive, but its one of those guns that commands respect)

Purchased

Colt Official Police w/4" barrel
Smith & Wesson Model 19 w/6" barrel

Sold
Glock 26. Went towards the purchase of the S&W Model 19

My firearms purchases are normally well planned and researched. Once I determine a "niche" in my battery needs to be filled, and I fill it, I rarely sell anything.

Last year, bought a S&W Shield in 9mm (for the wife).
A Rossi "Matched Pair" in .243/.20 gauge (for the travel trailer).

This year, just scored a Benelli M2 Field at a going-out-of-business price, and saved $300! Still, after tax, it's was @ a grand$$, so I will "chill" the rest of the year as I take care of debt.

I need to redo my priority list. I am not beneath swooping in on an unexpected bargain if I find one.
