2013 What did you buy and keep.

2013 was a slow year on gun acquisitions for me as the wife and I bought a house so most of the extra money went there. Despite that, I acquired:

Remington 1911 R1S
S&W 22A

I did not sell or get rid of anything as a general rule, I keep every gun I buy.

As for 2014, I already have 2 on the way:

Savage Axis in 308 to use as a build
Complete AR lower
 
2013 was a slow year for buying guns for me. I added 2 ARs, an AK and a Sig 2022. Sold my last 12 ga, the AK, a couple .22's and a S&W 36.
 
Came home from deployment in November and picked up my preordered "unit" SIG Scorpion .45, and then bought an XDs, and then a 92FS. Already have a buyer for my Gen4 G27 which the XDs has replaced for carry.

Bushmaster AR, Don't have it anymore, Gave it to my dad.

Beretta 92G, purchased used, Still shooting it.

Beretta M9, Purchased new, still in box, never shot, can't find a holster to fit the rail.

Remington 870, 20 ga. youth, pink camo, wife shot it this bird season, daughter will shoot it next year!

Ruger LC9, to replace my old LC9 that I gave to my best friend (he needed a gun for his truck and kept putting off the purchase!) Carry the gun every day!

Browning Silver Hunter Micro Midas 20 ga., my wife will be shooting it for birds in 2014!

Used Springfield M1A1! Just bought it this fall! Going to take one of kraigwy's military rifle classes with it this summer!

Those are my purchases for 2013 and disposals for 2013!

Slow year in 2013 for me. I did sell an AR in January for a little bit of profit. Other than that, nothing new. Spent most of my firearms budget (which was virtually nil) on reloading.

2014 will be a little different. I can't buy guns left and right but I have to buy at least one for my oldest girl. She wants to hunt next year and it is that time. I have to pick her up a youth shotgun. If I'm lucky enough to have the money laying around to get one for myself It'll either be a Savage bolt project build or a .357 lever gun.
 
Only bought one in 2013, A Zastava PAP M92 7.62X39 pistol. Watched the price climb several hundred dollars due to the potential gun ban hysteria and bought near the peak, grabbing the last one.

Buy high, sell low. Right??

2013 was a nice year for pinned and recessed S&Ws for me. I added a 99% smith k-38 6" from about 1947.
2014 looks to be more of the same, I have a short list of one more smith and ruger revolvers vaquero.
Sold more than I wanted to...I hate selling guns.

I owned 0 handguns at the outset of 2013. Now I own 3. Whoo hoo I'm on my way!

Bought my first handgun early in the year, a Beretta M9. I love that thing and have shot the hell out of it.

Bought a bunch of extra magazines from gunbroker a few months later. What fun is going to the range if I'm spending half the time reloading?

Picked up a Ruger Single 10 at the Philadelphia Gun and Knife Show. It's a fun little stupid cowboy gun but I haven't gotten to shoot it much since .22 is in such short supply.

Added a snubbie to the crowd just a few days ago. Some idiot bought a Ruger LCR .357 for his wife for Christmas without getting her input first, and she ended up hating the thing. Back to the store it went, and I picked up a $500 gun for $400. Thanks hubby! I've only put about 100 rounds through it but it's a ton of fun.
 
I bought a CZ .22lr rifle.
A Colt 6920.
And traded my Kimber TLE for a Colt Combat Elite.

I am still passively looking for a decent .22 pistol, Ruger Mk2 with heavy barrel preferably.
And saving my nickels and dimes to get a suppressor for the AR. Finally told the wife thats what I wanted, she didn't throw a fit about me wasting money so I took that as a silent approval.
At some point I will probably indulge in that Colt LE901 as well.
 
This is a helpful thread. I've been thinking of buying my very first and it's great to see what folks have liked!
 
Added two more STI pistols to my stable (Trojan and Eagle). Also built an AR15. This was the most satisfying because my two sons and I each built ARs from scratch and we did it together as a project.
 
Only one, my 10 shot Smith and Wesson 617 with a 6" barrel, I had the cash set aside for it for 7 months, it took that long to get my paws on one. 2012 was the year where I bought more, I got a S&W 15-22, a S&W 686+ with 4" barrel and a Windham Weaponry SRC AR-15. Of course I had to accessorize all these firearms with sights, magazines, holsters, loading blocks and speed loaders.
 
I bought a 12 gauge Remington 887 NitroMag, and a 1939 Mosin for myself. I bought my wife her first shotgun, a 20 gauge 870, for her birthday.

Would have purchased a few more but a new son best thing to happen in 2013) and a bunch of medical bills ate up a lot of money last year. I will be purchasing more this year and by starting a new job in a couple of months, will be issued a few more new guns :)

2014 is looking dreary here in California, if I squeak it out I might be able to get a Ruger SR9, and SR40, before the deadline dates for delisting. One handgun purchase/dros in a 30 day period and they're falling off the approved roster, along with the S&W' semi-auto handguns.

2015 a muzzle loader long rifle, the only gun that will be left on the approved roster in CA.
 
Uh, I didn't buy any but, my wife and daughter gave me a Springfield Loaded 1991 .45 in S/S.
Past Christmas include:

Mini 30, S/S
Springfield M1A, Loaded
 
Just one, a Savage 110 in 30.06 and swapped barrels to a 338.06.
Bedded the action and polished the sear and trigger. Still trying to develop a load for it.
 
Lots of trades, one buy. Ended the year having committed to my carry system enough to have picked up a second, and had Trijicon HDs put on both.

The PX4 will likely go soon.
