2010 SHOT Show

My continuing thanks to all furnishing pictures and information for those of us unable to attend the party in Las Vegas. You truly are performing a tremendous public service!

Boarhunter

Ps: That snubby Rhino revolver is SO UGLY I feel compelled to add one to my accumulation!

The first pic of a new Bren ten with an idiot mark! That frame wont be too popular i wouldn't think the way it shows wear so easily.
All 3 of those Fortis's have holster and firing wear, Someone out there has been a lucky guy.

well considering their prototypes have probably been heavily tested for a while, and finger ****ed by thousands of people before it even got to shot show should be enough evidence. Had they just pulled that out of the box and it wore off after a few people had handled it might say something, but display/prototypes get handled ALOT.

oh man I almost cheesed myself when I saw heritage had a 410/.45 rough rider! I love my heritage .22 convertible, so I'll be itchin' to get one of these. I hope it has a transfer bar instead of a frame safety.

glad to see magnum research put a shorter barrel on their .45/410 but I just can't afford one of those.

So what are you impressed with at the 2010 Shot Show?

Nothing really caught my eye, seems like all the manufactures are trying to jump on the band wagon with other manufactures, gas piston ARs, Handguns in .45/.410, polymer revolvers, .380 autos, etc… The only thing that interested me is Ruger making the Blackhawk .44spl flattop a regular catalog item.

Still haven't seen much about the new U.S.F.A. reproduction of the Match Target Woodsman offered by Davidson's.

What’s going on at the Remington camp? I heard that they are involved in legal issues with ACR patent issues and I was interested in what they ended up showing. Is there any info on their rumored entry into the handgun market?

I saw it... along with the rasberry framed Ruger LCP they were offering. The USFA woodsman looks sweet. Not sure of these were the "Match target" models, but they were the only 22 pistols marked "Woodsman" that I found. Fit & finish were excellent... but I think the Colt finish was likely nicer "back in the day"... but that said, it's nice to see it back. MRSP should be in the mid $800's based on the distributor pricing and multiple gun orders.

Another .22 LR with a "spacy" image (like the Woodsman, S&W 41) is the Whiteny Wolverine. Olympic Arms brings back the 1950’s designed Whitney Wolverine .22 LR pistol. This time

they’ve used a polymer frame and vent rib barrel. Lightweight, fun to shoot, ergonomic grip angle with a 4.625” barrel, optional adjustable sights, 10 round magazine. MSRP is only $294. All we need now is our rocket pack and some Thoats to shoot at.

Wolverene

I was a teenager when the Wolverene was introduced. I would have given it all for one, have actually seen only one or two. LGS had one last year. Had to settle for an Iver Johnson Sealed 8, 6"'' bbl.
