2010 SHOT Show

Okay, so, what kind of pistol is that made for?

Hk. By the looks of the blue mock up. USP? now the big question is what calibers can the conversion handle?

HOLY ____! Ruger FINALLY made a 22/45 that accepts 1911 grips!? Holy Jesus someones getting a bonus for that bombshell!

The "SCAR-22" by Austrian Sporting Arms looks like it could be fun too.

Hopefully the price will be sane and the quality will be good.

The FBI just arrested 22 arms company executives at the SHOT show for attempted bribery of a foreign official. A S & W executive is amongst them.

I would think anyone involved in firearms related sales would already know that half their contacts at ANY gunshow, especially SHOT, is likely to be some form of federal agent trying to sting/entrap.

Im guessing no remington 1911. But then again there isn't, well, anything coming out of SHOT. It seems all the guns announced are things on manufacturers websites anyway.

It was a 2yr+ investigation and involved foreign sales. Doesnt really appear tp be SHOT related..... they just conveniently all came to vegas for the show and the FBI figgured since they are all there... might as well bust them all in one swoop.

The RGP upper is not the standard Short Stroke like the HK 416, LWRC POF or Adams ams, etc.
they took a different direction and went with a mid length gas piston design as opposed to the PWS
Long stroke and he other short stroke pistons. Spent some time with Greg Baradat, the production eam
leader this after noon. Its a nice departure from the ordinary.
Greg said the RGP'sbarrel is held in place by 4 allen bolts so it should be easy to change.

celebrity sitings

I'm sitting at the airport ready to take the red eye out of vegas right now after SHOT show but unfortunately I didn't actually get to see that much, I had to meet with shoe vendors from 8-5 both days I was here
I did however get to meet Jeff Quinn and shake his hand :D I also saw Lee R. Ermy, Brock Lesner, and Brian Urlacher all there. Looked like Urlacher had a personal escort showing him around, probably just keeping track of everything he's gonna buy

The first pic of a new Bren ten with an idiot mark! That frame wont be too popular i wouldn't think the way it shows wear so easily.
All 3 of those Fortis's have holster and firing wear, Someone out there has been a lucky guy.

I hope they keep those priced competitively, Or at least something i can afford as id like one in 10mm to keep my 1911 company.

The Rhino looks really cool for a revolver, .357 makes it all business and something i would consider and i never owned a revolver.

Thanks for all the drool worthy pics and updates!
