1st gun: 9mm G19 or CZ75B??

Get the Hi-Power. Great gun and after $300 spent on a gunsmith, it'll be the most accurate 9mm you'll ever own, hands down. Remember, you gotta pay for performance...

Glocks are fine pistols, but I would never recommend a Glock as someones first gun. The CZ75 would be a better choice for your first gun out of the two. Isn't the CZ75 less expensive than the G19?

Actually, I would never recommend any semi-automatic pistol as someone's first gun. I always recommend the Taurus M627 Tracker, with seven shots of .357 Magnum, as a first gun for men.

I agree that you should try the CZ75 PCR. My opinion is the G19 is the most size efficient 9mm service pistol made. With this said, I am certain the PCR is a close second. The PCR is second only due to the lack of high capacity magazines. Regards, Richard

CZ

CZ, great reliable proven gun for the money. Even if you get another pistol in the future. You'll probably never get rid of the CZ.

I would normally recommend a Glock 19 for most people. Since the CZ fits your hand better, go for it! A weapon is like a pair of shoes. Sometimes those nifty cowboy boots just won't fit ya. Watch-Six
