That is correct Walther is a Umerex company, Walther was bought out.

You have it wrong the much maligned P22 is produced at the Arnsberg, Germany plant.
The PPQ .22 M2 is produced at the Ulm plant alongside the other PPQ firearms, I've asked Walther directly (as I was concerned before I purchased mine) and was given a response by Genndon Moore. Please see attached email below:
