Your opinion, which gave you a greater fun factor? WASR AK47 Clone or an SKS

I liked my Yugo SKS because it's a big, solid rifle compared to the AK but I ended up ditching mine because it was such a BIG, SOLID rifle. The AK won (for me) because it was lighter and handier and had a better trigger. Both are very reliable.

I could get slightly better initial groups using the irons on the SKS although both rifles string shots horribly when they get hot. I don't think the SKS is inherently more accurate than the AK, my scoped groups are tighter. It's too bad scoping the SKS is such a chore.
 
A milled receiver would be nice, but from the pictures provided on J&G most look like they're stamped.

It doesn't make any realistic difference. Milled are just more expensive.


Get a Saiga.
