My wife doesn't carry. But her house gun is a 3" SP101 loaded with Federal 158 gr. LSWCHP +P's.

Some of us *are* the ladies. My old man ;P carries a Springfield XDM 9 MM. I carry an S&W Model 60-10 with CTs. We also own a Mossberg 500 shotgun with a Specops Knoxx recoil-absorbing stock on it, for home defense.

We're both fairly new gun owners. I'm sure that as time goes on and the budget isn't as tight, my husband will obtain a nice collection of guns of all types. I'm doing this for self-defense and philosophical reasons rather than the sheer fun of it, so other than perhaps getting a backup/secondary pistol, I doubt I'll acquire more guns than I already have.

My wife (and myself) both carry revolvers. The wife has S&W M36 and a Ruger SP 101 .357 (that she has decided is too heavy to carry). I love the SP 101 but it is a hefty hunk of steel. The wife also shoots IPSC with a 1911 45 ACP. I really feel sorry for anyone who messes with her.

She won't carry anything smaller than a 9mm. She has a couple.......
She has her own 12 ga. & rifles.
She can shoot anything we have in the house.
Currently she carries a Kel-tec PF9.

My girl doesn't carry a gun yet. She lives with a rather unstable brother and doesn't consider it prudent to have guns in her house as a result. She does intend to start carrying when she is able and she absolutely LOVES guns. She didn't used to, I didn't use to either for that matter, but that's changed. Heh, it's almost a little strange, she finds them rather sexy, and she's a really good shot too; enjoys shooting guns that even large men complain about being a pain (such as the Mosin M44). Oddly enough, she didn't like the Polish P-64 however.

Wife's house gun is a 649. Here in Nazi Jerkwad you can't carry legally so if attacked you are supposed to roll over to the curb and bleed out quietly.
Nobody in Nazi Jerkwad carries anyway and the check is in your mouth. Believe what you wish.

My girlfriend carries a Bersa Thunder 9mm UC. Loves it, it is reliable, and accurate in her hand. She picked it without me there. (her stepdad bought it for her when she got her CHL). She now wants my P-64 after firing a few hundred rounds out of it.
Stepmom carries an LCP on body, S&W 4906 9mm in her purse.
Little sister carries a .44 spcl S&W
Almost of all of my stepsisters carry, as well as most of my female cousins.
The two surprising ones were my girlfriend (showed no interest in guns before she met me) asked to go to the range with me once. It was like feeding a tiger a bucket of blood. She loves to shoot and goes to the range with me whenever we get a weekend together.
Stepmom was not realy anti gun, but showed no interest, till she met some of my female cousins that took her shooting. They got her hooked real good.
