your favorite .32acp and why.....

yes, the .380 can be had in the same sized gun but with harder recoil many times over.....so lets leave the caliber debate alone.

I like the .32acp because it is the softest shooting centerfire that has a reasonable amount of respect due to its performance on the street, its penetration, historical significance, and its just cool.

if I could find one, my favorite would be the Walther/Manurhine pp/ppk in .32acp. I own a few LWS32s but they are limited for use as ENT guns. I once had a Beretta Roma Mod. 90 and foolishly let it get away....

please feel free to post pix of the guns you actually have, I like character marks.

Favorite... FN 1900. Will get one when I move, and go for a C&R license.

Figured if I'm going .32 ACP, might as well get one that has so much history. Started a World War and started the modern concept of a semi-auto pistol.

I'll say the P7K3, or maybe the Benelli B77. Both are extremely pleasant and easy to shoot well. Only reason the B77 ties and doesn't win outright is that I can get hammer bite if I'm not careful. Can't find a solo photo of the B77 but here's my K3:

Edit: Found a photo of my B77:

FN 1910. It was a 1910 in .380 that was the bad actor at Sarajevo. I have a 1900 also, and so did TR - kept one on his nightstand.

My favorite was my walther pp made in Germany in 1944..the real deal..had all the nazi marks on it.

I had the post-war French PP in 32 - best natural pointing handgun I have ever held. That said, IF it had been a 380, I'd still have it.

Those 32acp empties are find to find either in the grass or on a hard surface littered with everything else.....

I have a Colt 1903 and a Savage 1907.
Neither is especially small or light for the caliber, but they offer two very different ways to approach the same end, something that was prevalent in gun design 100+ years ago.
I like the Colt because it's very slim and sleek.

My most used is the Seecamp, certainly favored by me but my prize is the Sig P230, rare and a real gem. It is one of the best fitting guns, (to my hand), that I own. Accurate and reliable top the reasons why. A world class gun. Hard to argue with a nice Walther PP though... a beautiful pistol.

I have an Armi Galesi Model 9 made in 1954 with the original flap holster and two magazines chambered in 7.65. It is my only .32 ACP...

I would have a difficult time choosing between a Mauser 1914 and a CZ70. Both antiques, of course, but both excellent weapons.

Geez. I have a bunch of Walther. All in .32 except a .22 PPK/s that snuck in.

Along with a first year Seecamp. A NAA Guardian and a Colt.

My favorite might be this one:

They are tough to find. I looked for years and lucked out on Gunbroker. That's my plan for when I get old(er) and can't handle much recoil anymore. That little gun will be with me.

In my accumulation I have a choice between 3. A CZ 50, Manurhine PP, and Kel-Tec P32.
If I were to carry one it would be the P32. Both the CZ, and PP feel really good in the hand, but I still have to give the favorite nod to the French Walther.
However, I am always on the lookout for a 1934 Mauser like the one I foolishly let go pre Rule #1.

My favorite would be the one I still have, a Mauser HSc, WaA pruf. I used to have one of the Savages (1917?? I forget the model number). It was a neat gun, looked cool but the magazine it came with was made in Mexico, and never worked right, nor could I find a replacement.

I have had two spare mags for the HSc, one wouldn't even go halfway into the frame, and while the other does, you can't pull the slide back far enough to chamber a round. Might be able to fix that one, its on my to do "someday" list.

the magazine that came with the gun works flawlessly.

The HSc isn't the best possible gun for pocket carry, its quite heavy for its size. Which, actually endears it to me, as I don't have a lot of faith in the .32ACP, and a good hefty brick of a pocket pistol might be a useful thing in a worst case situation, because the last ditch function of any firearm is as an impact weapon.

P32, I have carried mine for nearly 17 yrs. I got the slide hard chromed right after purchase. Never had a hiccup with it. I carry it 90% of the time when not at work.
