Your biggest "conversation starter"?

By a long shot, the ol' Whitney Wolverine has gotten more attention than all of my others combined.

When ever I show my buddies my guns, they always want to talk about the .44 mag redhawk and try it out. People love big bore handguns. I keep buffalo bore +P .44 mag loads on hand to let people try the hot ones if they want to. Sometimes people at the rifle range like to watch me shoot it. A while back, a fellow shooter at the range had a .500 s&w and let me shoot that one. That's definitely a conversation starter. Everyone wanted to talk to him and look at it. I don't see a lot of large bore handguns at the ranges where I live. Maby in Alaska it's more common.

Usually it's my TC contender 10in. bull barrel 30.30 win.

When I am at the line with a hand gun and the bang is enormous, the line goes silent for a moment and someone will say "WHAT was that?"

Belgian Browning Hi-Power :) or S&W Model 19

16 year old kids like my Glocks though.

EDIT: 16 year old kids shooting with their dads*** lol Mild joking tone but true.

Ruger MkII M77 in 30-06. People just gravitate toward it. Always fun!

EDIT. Not mine rifle. Just an internet photo.

My Desert Eagle.

Of course, when many see it's only .44 Magnum, and not .50 Action Express,

they immediately walk away.

Needless to say, IMO, not my best, or most sensible or economical gun.

When my Ruger P95 unloads all it's rounds in a small hole at ten yards in about three seconds.:D

Yea,I'm that slow.:D

Sure gets the range users shooting faster though.

Funny how that works.:D

People seem to be drawn to my 617 too.

You'd think I just brought a crystal skull to the range or something when I bring Tiny Shiny out.

Everyone wants to see my kimber or cco. I get to tell them that it's a Star PD 45acp. Most have never seen one but have always heard of them since they started the light weight compact revolution in the 45. Almost all say it was way ahead of it's time and think it should still be made.

AR with a 7.5" upper. Probably just interests people because it's stupid loud when I take it to the indoor range. Pure novelty.

I usually get funny looks when I touch off my 15" .308 encore handgun. One that is nearly as bad is a .45-70 barrel I have. My brother's 15" .270 winchester is obnoxious too.

No, sorry.

I'm more of a "stick it in the wild boar's face and keep pulling the trigger till I feel

less tension" kind of guy.

At the range, I just look for the last/next shot, and wait for the smoke to clear

out of habit. Which, with this .44, takes a couple seconds more than usual.

Muzzle blast is rather phenomenal in low light, though!
