Xtreme .224" 5.56mm 55gr FMJ Bullets...Opinions?

I've been shooting the xtreme .224 55g FMJ bullets for 9 months, probably 500 rounds so far. Never occurred to me to try to get highly accurate with them. I would be using match bullets for that. The Xtreme bullets plink fine. They are sub-beer can at 100 yards, I can say that much about them.

I've shot about 20,000 of the xtreme .223 bullets in the last year. They're best for plinking. When shot for accuracy, they're not very accurate, but when shot in full auto, they're good because they're cheap, although not the cheapest unless they are on sale/promotion.

The math I have is 7.6c per projectile after shipping (no tax because I am out of state from the seller).

Here's an annoyance with these bullets. When ordering, tell the shipper to send you boxes of 1000. I ordered 100,000 of these bullets when they were on sale. On the right of this pic are the 1000 count boxes. They shipped 40 of these boxes. Then I was expecting 60 more. Instead, I got the big boxes that you see in the right photo, one of which i opened. The big boxes had 10,000 bullets each, which makes for a pain with storage and moving around. Also, I don't know if packing that large a number of bullets in one box causes the bullets to deform, as the weight of the bullets must have a deforming effect on the bullets nose and shape (not really an issue for me, since I don't shoot for MOA accuracy, but might be for others). Tell them you want the small 1000 count boxes.
