XD vs. M&P vs. Glock in .45 ACP only, best one?

Glock 21 Gen 4 for me. I really like the M&P but don't have any shooting time with one, they have a nice grip and balance. I have shot a couple of H&K variants and I wasn't impressed. The P220 is very nice but heavy and pricey with low round count, I haven't tried the P227. Which brings me back to the G21 gen 4 love it and I've had no problems what so ever. I did hear of an agency having problems withe G21 but...

The MA Transit Police bought M&P 45s and supposedly had problems and traded them in for P220s. The NH SP had Sig P220s and supposedly had problems and traded them in for M&P 45s! I am weary of LEO accounts of trouble with handguns.

How so? While I disagree about the trigger, that can be subjective... The XDM45 is 13 round capacity. So is the Glock 21... Except my Glock 21 is 15+1 capacity... So the Glock wins that one too.
I meant flush fitting capacity. the XD and XDM also has aftermarket mag extensions which its capacity to 15+1 as well.

I've had the XD45 tactical, Glock 21 and a couple 1911's.

The 1911's, even STI, lose out on mag capacity and price.

The M&P has a horrid trigger in 9 & 40, so I assume 45 is the same. Unusable.

My Glock was too wide and too big in the grip to be consistently held by me. It was accurate, and usually pretty good for local IDPA, but when I was missing, I think I grabbed it wrong.

So, I bought the XD45 Tactical Thumb Safety. I'm thrilled with this smaller gripped, accurate, decent triggered, 13+1 pistol. I really have no complaints, except it's size is not really ideal for ccw. It is fine for HD and IDPA.

I realize that. So since both are 13 round capacity, how does the XD win the category?
I suppose it doesn't. I still assert that the trigger, although slightly subjective, is a superior trigger to the glock, even if some people are biased towards single actions.

I'm still very fond of the XD 45, both service and tactical. The M&P 45 has a horrible trigger and for it's size, only has a ten round capacity?? The Glock is overly large and the grip shape, size and angle just don't work for me...and of course you get plastic sights and no front dovetail. When it comes down to overall size, ergos and out of the box accuracy, the XD works FAR better in my hands. I'm really not that enamored with poly frame/striker fired autos but it's hard for me to make a case against the original XD, regardless of caliber. There's just nothing about them to dislike for me.

I've got a fairly old xd 45--it is one of the only handguns (or any gun for that matter) I've ever owned that worked great and continues to do so in "virgin state" because I never saw a need for improvement. I'm really intrigued by the new model grips since I love my old one. I've never owned any other 45--just never saw the need.
