Wow! What a GREAT price (for the seller!)

ATTICUS - You may be on to something. Essentially he has the use of a free website where he can list all his wares and include fuzzy photos for little to nothing. If he actually makes a sale at the inflated price every so often, so much the better.

I was at a gunshow last year and ran across a very worn 2 tone Sig 22something. Its a good gun and decided to gander at it.
I picked it up and checked it out...lots o miles but clean mechanically...as I start to put it back the seller says
"Do you know what that is? Yes...what do you want for it?
"Its 600$...take it or leave it" $600  for that?
"You dont know anything about guns...thats a SIG!"
My dad was standing behind me and was trying not to laugh....both of us couldnt help it. As far as I know..hes still there trying to sell the "SIG!" for more than I can get a new one for.

You gotta love some of these guys...they actually dont want to sell anything...or at least sure seems like it...LOL

Shoot well

I have a 19-4 EXACTLY like that. Except: I only paid $150 for mine in like-condition (I bought it from a friend who didn't want it anymore).

BTW, my local gunshop has a Benelli similar to the "tactacle" mentioned above for $350. He's had it for months and doesn't seem to be able to get rid of it. Far as I know it is new.

Sheesh ... look at the suckers who bought some of his crap (see feedback) ... hard to believe. Sucker born every minute!

Good question, I was wondering the same thing.

Here's my theory:
He is/was the son of a multi-billionaire back in the 50's or 60's (hence the name "kidbillions"). He has all this money to invest so he buys up a boat load of S&W pistols thinking they will be a great investment. "Better than gold", thinks he.

Well, we come to today. His money has all been pissed away or other hairbrained schemes, cars, women, Enron and AOL stock, etc. Now's the time to sell off his hoard of pistols and reep the rewards of such a good investment scheme. OOPS, the guns haven't appreciated quite as much as was predicted. So he is trying to sell them at a price that would at least get him back about 1/6 of the money he would get if he had invested in some good mutual funds instead (weren't many back then, but they existed).

That's his story and I'm stickin' with it!

I think this is the same guy posting over on Gunsamerica. He has a lot of listings, and all are ridiculous. Goes by the name of Steve Kramer!

$725.00 Smith & Wesson m 64-3 38 sp 3". new in box. Round butt, stainless steel, Bangor Punta, heavy barrel. SN#7D899XX. Cashiers check, money order, and Paypal accepted. FFL to FFL only. Buyer pays $20 for rifles and shot guns, pistols $40 shipping, handling and insurance in the lower 48.

My mother said it best when someone casually said the old saw, "It takes all kinds." She said, "No, actually it doesn't. It's just that we have all kinds!"

That guy is a fraud, IMO. Someone should start rating him as such (give him a low score), and take the A+ rating down. No doubt, he is creating alternate emails and voting all A+ ratings for himself--even a good seller would not that that many high scores IMO.

At least the Benelli is in focus! :D

Maybe he should hold all the guns in his hand and take the picture that way. :p

SouthpawShootr:

Wow. The kids around here won't let anything black, plastic or pre-ban sit on the shelf for a moment, even at four times that price.

What's in your water? Can you export it?

I gotta second Kahr Carrier. It's either an "Evil Wife" sale or there is fraud of some kind and some degree going on.

I will vote that it is fraud. We see this all the time with photography gear. Someone tries to sell something that he thinks is valuable, and jacks the price up, but he really doesn't have it. Thats the reason for the photo of a photo of the shotgun. If he has the shotgun, and is willing to photograph the box, why not the gun? He doesn't bother showing photos in a few of his auctions of high $$$ items. The buyer figures that there must be something special about this gun because of the price, so makes a high bid, and "wins" the auction. The buyer then makes payment, and never recieves anything. Seller changes name, and buyer never gets anything.

Why do you think that he only accepts PayPal, Cashiers check or money orders only?

On a side note, i also think this guy is crazy.....$410 for a Bersa .380???? WTF!!!! I just purchased one for $219. $190 for wood grips?? I don't think so.

I.G.B.

I bought a 4" model 19 a few years ago from a local gunstore it wasn't mint, probably a fair 90% though and I paid $160 for it, I know it was a good deal, but you can find ones close to mint for well under $400 around my area.

No comment!!
