Awl Hayel No!

Ron Paul has my vote. I'll have to figure out Plan B if he dosen't get the nomination.

I think I could tolerate Richardson if we have to have a democrat.

The 2 parties are like picking between stepping in a cow patty or a cow pie it is the same $h*t just named different. I will vote for who will try to obey the Consistution and Bill of Rights as they were written.

Their rigid stance on the drug war is one of the cornerstones of the libertarian philosophy. To support it would be antithetical to everything a libertarian stands for.
I disagree
Individual liberty with limited government interference is the cornerstone of the party, Legalization is merely aspect of that.

My father once said that
Dems believe that their should be no god, Republicans believe that there should be their god and Libertarians believe that god is where you find him if you want to look.

The Dems and Republicans are all about shoving their ideals on us. Libertarians claim not to but the drug issue is seen as such by many.

Fred Thompson is the only candidate being mentioned these days who'd be friendly to us gun owners. He also has great recognition and "presence." He'd have put Hillary's and Bill's sorry asses in federal prison, if the Dems handn't shut down his committee.

No on Guiliani/Thompson
Yes on Thompson/Guiliani

I respect anyone who said (even in a movie) : "You two monkeys want to turn yourselves into a greasy spot on a road somewhere, fine"

I've listened to Fred D. Thompson/ D.A. Branch in interviews. I like him. I'd much rather vote him for president than Rudy. Last I checked, I recalled that the RNC was trying to groom him for just such a role, and he got pissed off, so he went back to acting.

On a related note, I'm a raging Law & Order fan. Methinks the views D.A. Branch shares on that show are those of Thompson's, which are all strict constructionist. Nothing Thompson has said, has strayed far from that. DUN DUN!!!

Back when JFK had just won, a woman was asked why she voted for him. She replied, "I like the way he combs his hair."
That's democracy in action.
No matter who is running or who is in office, we can always find something to complain about; the stance on the WOT, the WO(S)D or the WO (insert favorite cause here.) Just as with religion where no Church completely mirrors my views with respect to God, no candidate sees all issues exactly as I do. Therefore, if I really wanted to vote for the person who best represented me, I'd have to vote for myself... and so would a hundred million other voters.
So I use the L. Neil Smith test to decide which candidate I should support. As Mr. Smith pointed out, once you clear away all the crap, the only real test is his/her stance on gun ownership.

I'll stick with Ron Paul.
