Would you use this holster to conceal carry?

So I received a Desanti's Invisible Agent holster as a gift earlier this week. I'm a little unsure if I should use this to carry my Kahr CW9 (no safety, just the buttery smooth DAO trigger) since it leaves part of the trigger uncovered. It's an IWB holster which is thinner than my Don Hume IWB. Here is a pic:

As you can see, the hoslter doesn't completely cover the entire trigger and I'm a bit paranoid about pulling a Barney Fife. Since I received it as a gift I can't return the holster so I'm trying to figure out if it is worth using. It's comfortable when I've worn it around the house, unloaded.

It depends on how comfortable with it you are, personally I would be afraid I would have a AD if I went to pull it out in a situation. With some practice however I could probably overcome that, try quick drawing it unloaded in a stress type situation and see what you think.

If Desantis is selling it,it must be ok. Their corprate lawyers would stop anything they felt was unsafe.

I'd be leery but if you think of the way you are supposed to draw - trigger finger extended - then it should be OK.

No worse than carrying an LCP or similar in a pocket with no holster.

I like my triggers covered, although I've carried my P32 in my front pocket (with nothing else in the pocket) without a holster while I was waiting for the holster to come in.

It would depend on the gun. I wouldn't carry a Kahr or Glock in that setup but I wouldn't have a problem carrying my PPK (with its 20lb DA trigger ) in that holster.

I carry my Kahr K9 with a Clipdraw every day. Just be mindful of anything getting stuck in the trigger guard.

BTW how do you like your CW9? I may sell my P11 to help fund one.

I wouldn't carry it in that holster. I have 3 little kids that climb all over me, so my situation may be very different then yours. Then again, it is also way to easy to brush into things that may catch....

Maybe I'm not seeing the picture correctly, but I don't see any coverage of the trigger at all. I try to stay ahead of Murphy in handling guns, and although a trigger snag through your pants may be rare, it isn't impossible; thence my commitment to keep the trigger covered by my holster. I personally wouldn't use that holster, but my opinion obviously isn't unanimous.

I have carried my G26 and Snub Revolvers in that holster with no problems. It's my when I have to ware a Suit and Tie holster. I usually end up taking of the Jacket and that holster is a "Tuck able Style"

I'd at least try it. If it was comfortable, I'd use it when appropriate for the clothing I was wearing.

I'm comfortable enough with firearms safety that it's not even something I think about; I just do it. I don't need the trigger to be covered to keep my finger off of it when I'm holstering/unholstering.

If there's some specific scenario where the holster is obviously not safe, then I'd contact the maker and let them knoiw. Otherwise, I trust the safety that's between my ears.

But, with that said, don't carry with it if you aren't comfortable doing so. There's nothing to prove, and new holsters are cheap in comparison to the costs and misery involved with an AD/ND if you or someone else gets hurt.

Thanks for the input. I'm more worried about the trigger getting snagged rather than improper handling on my part. As to how I like the CW9...I love it. The only thing I don't like is the fact that night sights aren't a factory option and extra magazines can be expensive. I think I'm going to just let this holster collect dust. Any other suggestions for thin IWB holsters? Thanks.

In my opinion, part of the value of using a holster is that the trigger is covered. I'd be pretty leary of using it personally.
