Even fired from across the street a .22 Short in the eye will make you stop and check your heart rate.....
Gun fire sounds off and you can't figure where it came from, do a Jessie Owens.
 
Most real "mu safety is between my ears" operators know that a 380 can't shoot through a tee shirt, and are cheap plastic guns for the most part. So why not just stick your pinky in the barrel and let it blow up in the guys hand.
 
As Homer Simpson said..."He who laughs last...laughs dead". A .380 with any of today's defense cartridges is better than what it used to be. Bullet technology has drastically turned mediocre defense calibers into something you can bet your life on, in small packages that folks will actually carry and not leave at home.
 
35 years of police work...seen a guy run 100 yards after taking a direct load of 00 buck in center chest. Seen a guy hit 4 times in chest with a 10MM sitting on curb waiting for rescue..lived no sweat. Then people hit once with 380s and 22s who were dead right there...DRT...It's all where you put em and thats a fact
 
After a puff on the crack pipe and/or a hit of meth, I feel certain that .380 wouldn't harm me a bit!

That's just silly.
 
Last time I tested my Kahr CT 380,I loaded it with Hornady 90 grain hp's, and it shot thru a 2X4 and 600 pages of an old phone book.

Neither of these small carry guns should be underestimated. Here is my (one & only) 380 with my NA WASP .22 micro revolver.
