Would You Buy This?

No. After owning a Desert Eagle 44 magnum that I rarely use anymore, I just don't have any taste for these super-sized over-sized hand cannons. It would be fun to fire a few rounds, but once I've done that............then what?

I like the blued, 3-inch barrel version of the Raging Judge the best. They actually have it at my LGS.

They should trick it out like the "Tactical Operator" version, too.

We'll probably see it in the next Jason Statham movie shooting explosive rounds or something.

If you gave me one........... It would be sold "unfired, in the box" at the soonest possible opportunity.... too many bad experiences with Taurus, in my opinion the Jennings, Lorcin, Sterling etc. would be more reliable.

So given this solution by Taurus without first a problem, what's next?

How about a 12 gauge snubnose revolver? The Judge Executioner!

I have never understood the solution to a problem that doesn't exist saying (well I understand it I just think it is used in the wrong place or too often). I have multiple guns that were bought, not as a solution to a problem, but because I wanted them.

If there is a market for a item and the company will profit then no problem/solution is needed.

If a consumer wants to buy something for enjoyment then no problem/solution is needed.

I have no use for this gun and will not buy one but would never imply the my idea of fun and enjoyment is better than someone else's. I don't think Taurus was looking to solve any problems when they built this. They were trying to build a gun that certain people might be interested in

Maybe you didn't understand my point. Explain to me the "advantage" of the Taurus Judge over say a glock 19 for home defense.

The Taurus advertising campaign of "ultimate home defense handgun" takes advantage of the less informed. If someone buys it just because they like it, that's one thing, but my problem is that the judge is not even good for its intended purpose and most people don't understand that.

Winchester_73 beat me to the punch. That is exactly my feeling regarding the Taurus Judge. Too many novice shooters fall for the misleading marketing. In my opinion, that's shameful.

Maybe for the next Borat movie he can show up to shoot Skeet with one of those.

Other than that hard for me to think of a use for it.

I'll pass, My BIL came by to visit for the weekend, as usual the talk turned to firearms. He tells me he's thinkin about buying a Taurus Judge and wanted to know what I thought about it. It was all I could do to keep from laughing, and yellin at him "what the hells wrong with you?". But I was very polite and just pointed out to him that there we're much better choices out there for a home defense handgun.

If your not just asking a stroke question for the fun of it!

YES!

TBS, I have about 10-35 gun's I'd buy before that, but I like it although it's a Taurus, I'd buy one through experiences.

I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!

I think it's cooooolllll!

The King has no cloths.

Not into it... Not the design or the company. Last Taurus I bought (brand new) was broken after just 75 rounds. Brought it back and got a Ruger.

It's something to sell, sold a bunch of Taurus Judges. I guess it's ok if it shoots(I'm not a Taurus fan-seen too many duds). It will shot .410 for crawly snakes and ..45 Colt for 2 legged snakes so it's not too bad if it's one of the Taurus guns that works. I'm not a fan of this or the S&W version.
