Would Now be a Good time to stock up on 7.62x54R?

I don't shoot the milsurp ball ammo...not accurate enough for target shooting...
That said, I have been buying and stocking some for the purpose for which it was intended. Should it ever be needed for that purpose, having a few thousand rounds, and a crapload of rifles that can shoot it will prove invaluable.
Certainly easier, and far cheaper, than stockpiling thousands of rounds of handloads for the same purpose.
I don't think you would ever regret buying at least a couple of spam cans...

I've put 3 holes in under an inch at 100 yards with Russian surplus, iron sights, and a well-worn bore, as I've mentioned before.
You never know.
I can get under two inches with surplus through a PU.
Maybe not good enough for benchrest competition, but certainly good enough (with THAT can, anyway) for my uses.
Note: Admittedly not all surplus is equal, but I wouldn't make a broad statement that it's not accurate enough for target shooting.
