Best holster I have= Glock 19 in my waistband w/o a holster:D

I have done it for years and I have 2 children so it must be safe;)

I carry my SIG Sauer P220 almost all the time. Sometimes I carry one of my Glocks, or even one of my other SIG Sauers.

Carried various P-series SIG's, Glocks, DAO Rugers, Berettas and *&* autos over the years. None of my wheelies have manual safeties, either, come to think of it. ;)

Other than cocked and locked on my new 1911, its a glock 30 and a Kahr P40. Like it was said before, your brain is your safety... Just always be safe :)

Someday I may own a 1911-style pistol, just because.
But, generally, I avoid a manual safety.

I could have bought a P95 with a safety that my dealer had in the display case.
Instead, I had her order me a P95D.

I am a fanatic about keeping your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
A safety would be one more thing to learn, one more thing to go wrong.

You don't have to agree with me.
You have a right to be wrong. :D

While I normally carry a 1911, I've carried Glocks, Kahrs, and revolvers and felt perfectly safe. Just keep your finger of the *&**&*! trigger and keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. If you can't do either of those, a manual safety isn't going to save you.

Do it all the time with my S&W Model 042 in .38 Spl.

When I do carry a semi-auto, it's normally a Kahr K9, which has no manual safety.

I do occasionally carry a Taurus PT-22. It has a manual safety, but I never use it.

Yep, I carry a Kahr P40 and don't give a second thought to it's lack of a "mechanical" safety. Of course, it's got passive safeties so it doesn't go boom if it's dropped.

If you feel less than confident about it, buy a Fobus or Kydex holster for it, and you'll feel a lot better... At least I did. You realize pretty quickly that with all that plastic or other composite material surrounding the pistol, that trigger is in NO danger of being pulled.

Of course, Leather works too, but plastic is 100% un-flexible.

I wouldn't feel completely comfortable with one carried in an Uncle Mike's felt IWB... you can almost pull the trigger with the gun in the holster.

I'd feel comfortable w/ a double-action auto or revolver (or my P7M8), but not my Glock unless it was in a sturdy holster.

I don't like safeties, they get in the way... I put up with them on my 1911, but that says more about how awesome my 1911 is than it says about my preference for safeties!

Well, I carried a Glock for a few years, then a SIG for a few more. Neither had a manual safety, so I guess the answer is "yes."
