Then the other one looks at him, looks at his new pistol...and buys an identical S&W 1911. The clerks must have thought I was a cheapskate!

But everyone has a 1911, even you. So who cares? Doesn't anyone want anything different? I own a mustang, commander a national match but do I take them out all the time and buy more and more of them? No, because I don't care about the Jones'. I don't mean to sound harsh but why does everyone care what everyone else thinks?

I'm sure the clerk was surpised to sell 2 S&W 1911s in that matter but any clerk that would judge someone for not buying one in today's economy is simply an idiot.
