The project looks like it's coming along nicely. I've been looking for a 1917 for awhile and enjoy seeing what people do to them. I must say though that perhaps you refrain from buying more firearms until you get a new camera. That way you can fully appreciate your craftsmanship.

Bill gets to appreciate his craftsmanship any time!!;)

Saw your posts about me leaving you in suspense. Didn't mean to keep you all in suspense, sorry bout that. I had recently started another thread (several months ago) to show my progress and finish of this project because all my previous pics in this thread disappeared when Webshots.com where I had uploaded all my pics closed down. I've since uploaded new pics at photobucket to use in that newer most recent thread on this project. Said "newer" thread is several months old now and I had forgotten to reference it in this thread so that I wouldn't leave anyone reading this thread hanging in suspense. Using a new slightly better camera too that some of you will be happy to know since you didn't like the res on my old pics.

Many of you have probably seen that other replacement thread for this project with the new pics, but in case some of you didn't, the below link will give a proper ending that I neglected to do for this old necro'd thread.
Just click on this below link to go to the thread that replaced this one......

I won't be posting anymore to this old thread. Playing taps for it now. Lol.

Thanks for the update. I've been following your project over on the S&W forum; I'll also check there for updates--and new projects. ;)
