Woman sues WoodbridgePD for saving her life.

Am I missing something?

New Jersey Statute 59:5-4. Failure to provide police protection
Neither a public entity nor a public employee is liable for failure to provide police protection service or, if police protection service is provided, for failure to provide sufficient police protection service.

Seems the plaintiff is basically alleging the service was not "sufficient." Summary judgment would seem to be in order.

I wonder if the state of NJ is one of those jurisdictions where the law provides for offering a settlement amount, and if the award amount at trial is less than the offered settlement the prevailing party is liable for the court costs and attorney's fees of the non-prevailing party.

Service members try to cope for the rest of their lives after horrors that they've seen. And this individual wants her just due?Send her to Afghanistan for 12 months.

If it had been me I would have sued the dead bastard’s estate, witch would consisted of what he had stolen that day instead of the ones that saved me.

Likely a credible lawsuit, but wrong defendant. As noted above, it should have been directed toward the BG's estate.

WAIT: HE / IT HAS NO MONEY! Let's see, who involved has money..............
