The brass WAS ejecting 9-12 FEET....as I break-in the new recoil spring, it seems to toss the empties more like 6-10 FEET from the pistol to the ground...As soon as the 16# spring(on order)arrives, I'll look for a shorter landing trajectory. I really don't mind the casings flying "too" far....I'm just aiming for the "ideal" distance as described in Wolff Gunsprings FAQ: about 3-6 Feet.
