I'm sorry, but one can take sympathy for ignorant, pig-headed people only so far. After that point is passed, when any reasonable person should be able to expect that these idiots have learned a lesson, I feel it is justifiable to let people sink on their own.
Anyone who believes that simpering, bleeding-heart pathetic pap deserves to have those who would otherwise protect them turn their backs on them.

Not only is that a ridiculous statement in this context, it's un-American! Fighting for what we believe in is what made this country in the first place. Talked to an Australian who thinks her government is dangerously right wing... As of this writing the Australian Labor Party (social Democrats) has 37.6 percent of the vote, and the liberal party of Australia has 40.5 percent. The liberal party is considered to be "center-right." Damn near FASCIST I SAY!!!!
