Will dropping a round in the dog bowl ruin it?

Just wipe that bowl down and re fill it with fresh water, it sould still hold water.

If the dog swallows it, just make sure you don't also drop a firing pin into the same bowl. That could cause an explosive situation for the dog! Personally I would just try to shoot it and if it didn't fire, dispose of it.

Did you not know the round would EGECT when you racked the slide???? Confused

While out hunting once I found a 12ga shotgun round laying in the water of a river. No idea how long it had been there.

Curiosity got the best of me and I shook the water off and loaded it in my gun and fired it at a stump. It went bang just like it should. I saw no other hunters that day so I'm assuming it had to have been in the water at least overnight.

Modern ammo is pretty tough when it comes to water immersion.
