Wild Wild West Commercial

I bought a BK kid's meal for my 3 year old son recently, the toy was a W.W.W. pen that shot blunt plastic darts. There was a sign at the restaurant with a disclaimer about the violent nature of the W.W.W. toys and that other toys were available upon request.

Needless to say, my son and I had a great time shooting the pen gun.

If memory serves me correct. Smith and Wesson is presently owned by a British Firm.
Should we consider this a covert assault against the United States or an example of hypocrisy?
