Wife is looking to upgrade

My wife carries a Kimber Micro. I know it isn't a 9mm but it is very 1911 style.

She had been carrying a Ultra CDP II and decided it was too heavy. Now the CDP II stays in the night stand and the Micro is her carry gun.
 
Kahr T series is supposed to be very similar to a commander 1911 in dimensions. To the extent many use 1911 holsters for them. The trigger is much different as it is nearly a DA revolver trigger and it is striker fired.
I have a T9 which is a really slick gun and incredibly accurate. The trigger is heavy and long, but very smooth and predictable.
The just slightly smaller Kahr series should also be pretty similar in grip feel.
 
What I found worked best is a couple well stocked gun stores that had a great selection where my wife could try several and then a trip to a range that rents a pretty good variety of guns.
