WI CCW shoots robbery suspect in no-CCW zone

Baylorattorney is that a TX thing or nation wide? Seems like I've only heard of it in TX (being charged w murder if your co-conspirator gets killed).

It's called the Felony Murder Rule if you want to look it up. It's pretty common but I doubt that it's universal.

It's the law in most states. Someone gets killed, someone has to pay, unless it's a justifiable, self-defence killing and the good guy is off the hook. So the bad guy gets the shaft. Fair is fair, right? You're supposed to think about things like that before you join conspiracies to commit crimes.

Baylorattorney;
Thank you for your post. They are wonderfully informative.
This is what's interesting: But under the bill, private individuals and groups that allow concealed carry on their property would have blanket immunity from any legal liability from that decision. Groups and individuals who post signs prohibiting concealed weapons would not receive that immunity.
It will be interesting to see if the sign comes down after this good shoot.

Here is the media update;

From Gbro's link: "On Friday, the Milwaukee County district attorney praised his actions."

Makes me want to move to Milwaukee.
