Why is there an NRA Wine Club??

The company I work for has a wine club. Why??? Because it's easy money.

The NRA doesn't have to do anything other than give out it's customer list and then sit back collect 10-20% of the sales from said club... If someone came to you and asked to use your name for a wine club and told you they'd give you $250,000 per year what would you say?

Who on God's green earth thought this would be a good idea?? Am I the last sane person alive??

Maybe, just maybe, someone thought to provide a service to shooters who like their grape juice loaded hot with magnum primers, so to speak. :D

Also, maybe, just maybe, they assumed that said shooters are actually sensible enough to recognize that firearms should have an alcohol chaser and not the other way around, and to behave appropriately.

There seem to be people in this thread who are dedicated to assuming the polar opposite always, and it annoys the hell out of me.

No matter what the reason for the wine club or which organization is hosting it, this isn't a topic for TFL. Closed.
