The High Poohbahs of the Brady Campaign and all the other antigun bigot organizations know they are lying - they just don't care. They will tell any lie they have to to achieve their goal of a disarmed citizenry.
With a disarmed citizenry, their Democrat/socialist politicians will be able to rule without the possibility of resistance from We The People.

It's common here in America. Most people would rather put the blame on something else instead of the person that committed the crime. It's easier saying the "Devil" made me do it.

If you do a search of the semi-auto forum for zinc and P22, you will find out that what you believe is not true. Here are a couple of threads stating that they are zinc.

I said as far as I believe. I haven't read up that much on guns I don't care for, the P22 being one of them

The Devil made the Brady bunch do it. The good gun owners still outnumber the bad. They are trying to change that. Here's why they want our guns:
The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of it's own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be CORRECTED by good men with rifles.
