As soon as a person becomes pro RKBA they seem to cease to have a race to the general population. Either your a gun nut or you arn't. Here's a example: We all know JJ Johnson, well guess what, JJ has actually been listed as a racial hate group. Here's the link:
http://personalwebs.myriad.net/steveb/mil.html is that rediculous or what ? ( it's at the bottom of the page ) I have never seen JJ say anything racial at all other then he doesn't like the so called leaders the media trys to say represent the black people so where do they get this ? Do they even know he's black ? Oh I get it, he's a gun nut / pro freedom so he has to be a racist. This is the mentality the media has produced.
I think there are actually a few reasons we arn't as loud. For one, on the internet it seems like there are a lot of us, but in reality I know only about 10 people in my town who really understand enough to be trying to do something, one of them is running for county commissioner, another problem is that most people absolutely live in lala land. You know the ones, they are still living the american dream while their kids are being taught sexual liberation and state dependency in our indoctrination camps, ask them about it and they will loudly voice their approval, they think all of these antifreedom laws are "for the good of the community" and our tax system is just, they are hopeless, they will not protest, they trust their .gov. Then all that is left is soccer moms and anti's, lets not forget uncle sam works at making it a pain in the ass for us to begin with. We are the new bad guys.
This is not a popular battle like pro race rights, or any of that other stuff. The MMM had the voice of television and only rounded up < 100,000 true believers, we do not have that and actually we have the negative label of gun-nut and radical etc demonizing us in the media, that alone is enough to cause some gun owners to stay home, propaganda is very effective, look at the "american dream" people and what it has done to them. Aside from that how many gun owners even realize their rights are going ? How many times have you heard " not in this country ?"
Colombe:
I've seen that crap posted over there too. Robby doesn't edit it because of his belief in free speech but he doesn't support that crap either, I think those guys that post it are just trouble makers, If it were me I'd delete it, Free speech is a right granted but a reputation is easily tarnished. However I understand that crusading for freedom and then surpressing free speech is kind of hypocritical so I see his point.
