Who makes the best dies?

Long range shooters avery fussy. At this point, I find Lee to be a good valentine. And no issues. But that is all I gave used.

Started in the late 60's using Lyman 310 tool for 30-06. Then Rock Chucker and RCBS everything in early 70's. Now retired and can afford more expense. I still have and use RCBS but have settled primarily on Redding Pro dies for pistol/revolver with the Progressive Press. I use Forster dies with the Co-Ax and Rock Chucker presses for rifle. I do have the Lee and RCBS universal de-capper dies and the Lee FCD dies for each caliber. They all work however and meet my shooting ability. More "wants" than "needs".

I have a set of C&H dies; the dies came in a counter display box; written on the bottom of the box reads; this die set is designed to be used with a shell holder with a .125" height. And still there are reloaders that claim a reloader must match the shell holder manufacture to the die manufacturer. The C&H dies were made in El Monte, California in the 60s.

I do have die sets that keep ever cases that is shoved into them. I will promise you the dies are small base dies. When it comes to sizing cases for short chambers I find it almost impossible to beat a standard common everyday full length sizing die.
