Who makes BLUE (COLOR, not BLUED) fully active pistols and WHY?

So that someone without a CCW could paint the tip of that orange and ride around with it on the floor in the backseat of their car and it will look like their kids toy....;)

I turned down a good deal on a BHP because it was finished in digital camo. Blued, black, stainless, OK. Sorry purdy colors, and digital camo just doesn't appeal to me!

P226 X-SIX SCANDIC BLUE

W have a number of blue pistols at our training academy. Bright krylon blue, several Glocks, several SW, several revolvers. They're used for simunition (paint marking rounds) and are used for force-on-force training. The blue color quickly identifies a firearm that is used in training and we're very paranoid about allowing no other firearm into the shoot house. If it isn't blue, it doesn't come in the door.

Those blue pistols are training aids for non-lethal ammunition.

I guess to each their own. My best guess is that these would be to "stand out" at the range or club. Not for me but hey somebody is buying this stuff otherwise they wouldn't be advertising. People will spend money on anything.
