Who likes a DAO for CCW?

My primary EDC is either a P250C or P250SC in 9mm. I still occasionally carry a Glock 19 or SIG 2022.

It a personal thing with me, I started on revolvers over 30 years ago, so it's natural for me.

I disagree with "don't stage it" at least at the range. Although rapid fire practice isn't going to happen with most DAO's, my P250 9mm is my most accurate because I DO stage the trigger. I carry an LCP and feel extremely safe with DAO, if feel the extra weight in the pull is faster than cooked and locked.

I carry a 642 revolver or an LC9. The best way to shoot either is the pull thru. Practice and watch the front sight. Even with a single action you need to pull straight back.

Not me, why deal with such a trigger pull? I guess the 1911 has me spoiled, but i have never liked DA, not on revolvers or autos. If i had a Da/Sa auto, i would leave it chambered, safety on. Flick off the safety and ready to rock.

I guess some prefer apples, or grapes, or plums, or pineapples, etc. I am a cherry man, wiyh pears being a close second

Please describe"sweep it smoothly'"
It what I said about learning to stroke through the triggers movement without disturbing the gun.
Two big mistakes folks make are staging "which is OK for precision but time consuming" and not following through it's not how good the sight picture is when you start to pull the trigger, it's how perfect it is after you finish and the primer is struck.
