Who carries a BUG? Where do you put it? Where should I put mine?

certain personal from other countries can aquire the license for a hefty fee. im looking for somebody. lets end it right there.

The pps is 4:30, extra mag @ 6:30. Sorry for the typo

Im actually torn between, and I realise they are completely differnent carry options, is the crossbreed microclip and the bear creek front left hand pocket holster on their front page. I will probably get both.

Unless some1 feels there is a batter solution. Also, cannot wait several weeks for a custom leather one with a backlog. FYI bear creek claims 7-10 days at the moment.

Question:
Besides law enforcement and the military, how many civilians have ever really needed a back-up gun?

How many parachutists needed their reserve parachute?

We just had this talk on another forum. Most everyone carrys a BUG I know. Just get something light. They all carry a 380 auto or snubby, one guy I know has his 380 @ 6 o clock.

With the LCP you can pocket carry, or with pants use a ankle holster. Have you looked at kangaroocarry?

how is the crossbreed microclip regarded? It seems like a good idea for an airweight j frame or anything smaller. plus it should be the thinnest in guessing.

This is making me question myself about a BUG.... -__-

Should I? My smallest is a G27 lol.

Waaaaait...I'd get slapped by a dade co. officer for carrying two guns on me. The SIG P226 E2 is enough with one extra mag.

EDC? Maybe during a hurricane. I usually do the 2-3 on me thing w/ the tac light and 870 out.

Damn looters.

I have a cross breed microtuck for my LCR. I like it. Its easier to get on and off compared to my supertuck that I use for my FNP. Having said that, I still think this is a BS thread.

The "choke wire" (believe the OP means a garrote) makes me suspicious, too.

Constantine, Florida state law preempts local and county laws, and I don't know of any Florida law limiting you to one gun. What does a Dade county officer have to do with anything? (Unless you are referring to a cop friend of yours who might give you some grief...)

BUG for me when I carry one

is a mousegun(38 derringer) weakside pocket in a small uncle mike holster. I carry my 2" 357 in the strong side pocket also in an uncle mike holster

What would S. Holmes, Kojak or Columbo make of this?

Stringer, I'm sorry to belabor the issue and/or to break your stones, but I'm still finding your story extremely puzzling.

You say you're a Canadian operating in the States and that you're "self-employed". And you say,
certain personal from other countries can aquire the license for a hefty fee. im looking for somebody. lets end it right there.

'Sorry, but it's too intriguing to "end it right there". OK, you're "looking for somebody". Maybe that means bail enforcement, maybe it means kidnap recovery/cult rescue and deprogramming/custody issues etc.

Everybody I've ever known in such endeavors (not that many, but a few) carried guns and handcuffs (and sometimes sipos, saps, expanding batons, chemical mace and stun guns) but, as far as I know, none ever carried a garotte. They also carried radios, because they didn't work alone. You, on the other hand, carry 2 guns, 2 knives and a garotte but make no mention of cuffs or a radio.

It certainly makes me wonder what you're gonna do with the "somebody" you're "looking for".

Does anyone else find this as puzzling as I do? What am I missing here?

That garotte certainly falls under the cateory of "unusual personal weapons". What's up, Stringer? Do you have a "Get Out of Jail Free Card"?

reply posts, concealed carry of a BUG/Kahr 380acp....

I did not read all of the reply messages yet but if you want to tote a small pistol like a Kahr .380acp concealed as a BUG or 2nd gun, I suggest these sources; www.Gunvideo.com www.5.11tactical.com Kramer Gunleather, DeSantis Nemnesis pocket holster.
Lenny Magill sells a few t-shirt, underwear, clothing items that conceals firearms in hot or humid climates. 5.11 & UnderArmor also market shirts & clothing that have concealment pockets.
Kramer Leather is popular with many armed professionals & sworn LE. They sell a mesh undershirt with holsters too.
I've owned & used a great pocket rig called the Nemnesis since 2004. Check www.Natchezss.com or the main DeSantis website. It's snug but will hold up to hot weather. They also market a pocket holster for spare mags made of the same material.
A slim type shoulder rig may work but you'd need a 5.11 or Safari type vest to fully conceal it.

a BUG can be carried anywhere

so the place where it is carried can easily change. I do know of instances where BG's disarm the civilian and are too dumb(yes they can be very dumb) to realize that he/she has a gun. That BUG Can save your life just as much as a CCW CAN. Whatever works... A BUG can also be handed to a friend as one of other examples if something goes down. You know the usual, on a trip at a strip joint or casino and you run into a little trouble.

THAT LAST PART WAS A JOKE

I watched a video today, trooper got captured by a criminal @ gun point in a traffic stop, and took the cops gun. This is why a BUG is important. They caught the criminal with a road block.

I carry a kel tec p-11 IWB at 11:00 and a sigma .40 OWB in a serpa holster at 4:00. Also carry 1 reload for the sigma in a mag pouch, and a gerber pocket knife... and my wallet, cell phone and keys.

No wonder women carry purses. :D
