Who Carries a .38 Snub?

Started off packing an dao sp101. Now packing my .38 lcr with boot grips and xs sight. Also often have an naa mini mag in an ankle holster because there is no reason often not to. Snub nosed da revolvers are my only serious conceal carry packing guns. If I holster carry open which I really don't but if I did it may be a da medium frame revolver with a longer tube if not still a snub.

I sometimes carry a snub as primary although I usually carry a full size auto or 4 in. revolver. I alternate between One of my Colt Detective Specials loaded with Rem. 158 LSWCHP or my 3in. Model 65 S&W with 125 Golden Saber magnums. Last week I carried my father's old Smith M&P 2in. square butt for a couple of days. I always use IWB or OWB for my primaries as my jeans are a might snug for pocket carry of revolvers.

I carry an LCR .38 routinely since my wife took my SW 36 for herself. Its nickel-plated and her favorite color is chrome.

Model 60 Smith here.....as a definite primary.
632 sometimes as a backup [hot .327's]
Lately, leaning more to just the 632.

Who carries a .38 snub as their primary/only weapon? I have a 3" Taurus 85 and a 3" Charter Arms (70's era) .38 that I rotate. I always have a KT.380 in pocket. (I am looking for a sub compact 9mm at this time.)
I carry a pair of Taurus® Mdl 85SS2UL's everyday.....

S&W 360, 38 special, exposed hammer version in an Alessi Deep Cover holster, or DeSantis pocket holster when wearing shirt, tie, dress pants....

Model 38 Smith > 30 years.

Disagree with post 19(concerning neccessity of pocket holsters). Clean your gun monthly; change your pants more than once every 2 weeks.

Taurus M85 Ultralight has been my EDC piece for 8+ yrs. Occasionally I pack the PT-140 bottom feeder I started my CC days with, but the lighter weight and smaller grip size of the snubby completely won me over.

2571; How do you keep the gun from rotating in your pocket so the grip is at the bottom of your pocket, if you don't use a holster?
EVERY time I've carried a gun in my pocket w/o a holster, it worked itself around so the muzzle pointed up.

My mom. Since losing a bit of mobility due to a hip replacement, she had been reluctant to go out at night. So, I went shopping with her, and I taught her to shoot. We recently got her a permit to carry concealed. Her .38 now goes with her everywhere.
