If you could only afford a dozen cheap rifles on one hand, or, only afford two or three nicer rifles on the other hand, but definitely not both scenarios, which would you choose? Neither one of the those rifles mentioned in the OP appeal to me. I can't afford a bunch of cheap stuff. But higher quality is oftentimes worth paying more for. If you actually need the rifle, buy the best you can afford, one that's worthy of a walnut stock. But, hey, that's just the way I look at it. Some folks will say that the correct answer is to buy both. In the end, the choice is all yours.
