I'm with Scorch, my 103 year old Remington Autoloader will eat anything it's fed and want more. Hell it's more reliable than my 10 year old Browning Gold hunter.
You shouldn't have to break in a pump gun. If you are shooting the Express, there are more than a few reports of rough chambers which need some polishing
Not sure what you mean by "Walmart shells"
I've never had any gun not shoot any of the budget loads sold at Walmart made by either Winchester, Federal, or Remington.
