which shotgun shoots 2 3/4 walmart shells?

I had a Benelli M2 that would shoot them all day without any malfunctions.

Of all the guns I have sold or traded that and my 03-A3 are the only ones I wish I could get back.

Well, I have never seen any WalMart brand shotgun shells. They do sell several brands. The Winchester Universals with the steel (silver colored) heads are the ones that give the most problems it seems. The Expresses get the most bad press, probably because there are more of them, but I have seen plenty of Mossbergs, and even a BPS being beat on the ground with those shells. The steel expands and doesn't bounce back the same way, and they may be slightly oversized to begin with. They can also give semis fits, but all my 1100s eat them even if they do rip the heads on many ejecting them.
Any gun with a really smooth chamber should be okay, and if your chamber is rough, you can likely fix it by honing it. Sometimes wrapping steel wool around a bore brush and burnishing it will do, but honing will fix it.

My only auto-loader is a Remington 1100-T and it's never had any problems with the factory loads I've tried.

My not-broken-in 870 jammed up this weekend using cheap value pack ammo after shooting enough for it to get warm. Finally seized up to the point I had to prop the gun on my leg and use both hands to move the slide. Pinched my palm between the slide and the receiver. Removed some skin and ended shooting day. Next time Ill just let it cool.

I think its a combo of the new gun and cheap aluminum (Federal) as had not happened up to this point with about 30 quality buckshot or slugs.

You shouldn't have to break in a pump gun. If you are shooting the Express, there are more than a few reports of rough chambers which need some polishing

I prefer the Federal Target loads from wally world (the ones in the blue boxes) because I prefer a lighter 1oz load over a shoulder thumping 1-1/8 load, but none have ever had any issues with firing or extraction from any gun I have used.

As to barrel heat, a mere two shots will make the barrel warm and 4 within a minute will make it too hot to hold - if you are shooting more and faster than that, you might want to slow down just a little so as not to burn yourself

My A-5 has never jammed, no matter what I feed it. Garbage Federal Game Loads or high-end Remington Nitro Steel.

My 870s will eaten them all day long... I just get tired of cleaning out all the grime they leave in every part of the gun... Haven't bought any of the Walmart value pack shells in three years...

I will occasionally have a guest at my club ....that will buy some shells to use when I invite them out to shoot - to be used in my guns ... from Kmart, WalMart or wherever....in their promotional packs....and they all seem to be fine in 12ga or 20ga ...in my Benelli semi-autos, my Browning pumps, or any of my Over Unders...

most of the promotional packs of shells I've seen are Winchester branded...but shells by Estate, or Rio, or Rem Gun Club ( for cheaper throw away hulls )...are fine as well....

I've never had any gun not shoot any of the budget loads sold at Walmart made by either Winchester, Federal, or Remington.

Guns used include Remington 1100's, 11-87's, 870's, Browning BPS, Benelli Nova and M-1, Beretta 390, Stoeger 2000, and Mossberg 500's and 9200's.

first of all, Walmart doesn't make shotgun shells. They sell mostly 4 packs of Remington, Winchester or Federal target loads in either 12 or 20 gauge. I've been buying them over 15 years now and never had a hitch on any of the multiple guns I've owned over the same period of time...

Your question is a bit vague considering the many different types/brands of shotgun shells Walmart carries.

Have never had any issue's in any shotgun shell's bought at 'big box' stores out of my semi auto's...

...Course, if your shooting a shotgun that prefers a more potent load, you could experience issue's with target loads of any brand.

Have you had issue's with your shotgun???

My 11-87 Supermag would not shoot the cheaper Federal and Winchesters, malfunctioning about every third round. My Maxus has done perfect with them so far and an 1100 Magnum that has a 2 3/4" barrel on it has also done very well.

Didn't know Walmart made ammo!

All kidding aside, All 4 of my 12ga shotguns(mossy 835 and 500, Benelli Nova, and the old side by side) eat any of the name brand ammo that WallyWorld sells (Remington, Winchester, Federal) and I've never had any issues with ammo purchased there, and I've been doing that for years. Never had issues while reloading them either.

Like others have said, while a new gunshould not need it, the 870 Express will often jamb until it gets warn in. More so with the Winchester value packs from WalMart, but sometimes with the Federal. Mine did and the quick fix is to polish the chamber with some fine steel wool. Here is a link to how to do this. http://www.aiptactical.com/Page_2.html

If that doesn't work, google AIP Tactical, look under install and cleaning, and then under new barrels.

That should fix it.
