BHP for ammo availability and parts and mags across the world.
Of the two choices even though I hate the Glock I would pick it for ease of maintenance and reliability.

If limited to the two you mention, I'd first examine the options of joining the other side.

If their ideology was as limiting as yours, I'd probably accept the Beretta and say a prayer that they re-issue 1911's by the time I got delivered overseas...

Good one LOL

Yea, a couple of .22's would be fun close up. Shove the gun into his mouth and pull the trigger. He deserves it.

don't shoot its me said:
I wouldn't take my own gun to war...it might get scratched...I'd use what they issue me.

To which I wholeheartedly agree. If I had to take a personal weapon it wouldn't be a pistol like Brandon_h3 said, but something with more ooomph. In the spirit of the moment I think I'd prefer a Galil or an Uzi.

And if the target was Bin Laden I'd want something I could use close enough to take back his head for the reward money.

:D

Glock, no doubt about it.

I had to take Berettas to third world hell-holes on peacekeeping missions. 3 out of 4 of the M9s I took to the pistol range jammed, while cleaned & lubed, on NATO FMJ. Not real comforting.

GLOCK ALL THE WAY.

I chose the Glock... but my real choice is: The Five seveN Pistol. 20+1 of 5.7x28mm ammunition capable of putting body armor to shame.

Today, I'd take the GLOCK without hesitation. However, I would grab a G30 if I had the opportunity. IRFAN, I have an unrelated question for you. That is an unusual name, are you IRFAN VIEW by any chance? The software guy? Just curious.

What kind of dope posts a poll like this and only includes 2 guns?

To answer the poorly asked question, I would take my CZ-75.

I would carry the Berretta 92 the Army has issued to me. If I had my choice however, it would be my 1911. Do I really have to explain?

I would choose anything that would be able to shoot both " friendly " ammo and the enemy's caliber of ammo. I would able to use my victims to arm myself!

I would prefer the standard 92FS/M9 over the Elite II. The chrome-lined barrel/chamber and lanyard loop being a couple of reasons why. The Glock might have an edge under certain military conditions - Simple, strong, lightweight design.

I agree with 2kiddad.

Irfan needs to quit playing with the computer -if his mommy finds out, she's gonna tell his daddy when he gets in from work. THEN Irfan will be sorry.

I also think Irfan and Etron must be joined at the hip.
