Which one should I get?

226 with either slide. In 9mm, it really doesn't matter. I also agree with CWL on the 229 thing.

Ok I have decided to drop the P229 from the running. What remains is a choice between:

1. SIG P226 in 9mm (stamped slide).

2. SIG P226 in 9mm (milled slide).

3. SIG P228 in 9mm.

It's a really difficult decision between these three. Ideally, I could go to a range and rent all three. But there aren't any ranges near me that offer these 3 for rent...

226 for the hicaps (if you can get them... all illegal now in CA). Otherwise I'd get the 228 for size-efficiency.
