which one for accuracy, reliability, between 357 dan wesson, ruger gp100, s&w 686

Which revolver???

Check out Dan Wesson. Very well built, very accurate, and you can get a couple of barrel lengths and change to 21/2" for carry, 4" for IDPA, 6" for target , and 8" for hunting.

I have owned a Taurus and currently own Dan Wesson and S&W. You can't go wrong with any of them but the Dan Wesson removable barrel system is a big plus!!!

I've owned a Dan Wesson for over 15 years now and still love the gun. I have 4 barrel lengths and can use them for just about any purpose I choose. It's just a tremendously versatile revolver. Accuracy with a scope on the 8 inch barrel is outstanding. When I bought it, it was known for its accuracy and it's never let me down.

Same comment as Ron (who strangely enough just posted his entry a few minutes ago :p ).

I've never tried your other two choices, but have a Dan
Wesson .357 magnum and think it's a great handgun.

I've got 4 barrel lengths, and an ultra-dot scope on the 8" barrel. It's very accurate and great fun to shoot.

Cheers,
ChickenHawk

686 would be my choice with the option to have a Weigand Combat switch barrel system. I have a 4 and 6 right now, and I am saving for the 3 incher. SS

".....and it REALLY matters to ME....."

Both Dan Wesson and S&W make fine guns (politics force me at this point to recommend a DW over a S&W) but when I spent my own money I bought a Ruger KGP141.........and then I bought another one.

Accuracy and durability matter MOST to me...........

MOST ACCURATE NON-CUSTOM 357 MAGNUM

Ruger Redhawk, Dan Wesson (probably a tie based on specific example in your hand).

Of course, the Redhawk is discontinued.........
