I actually have guns from several different manufacturers, but a quick mental census shows that without question I have more Rugers than any other brand.

Having said that, when I hit the LGS, I make a beeline for the Smith & Wesson part of the counter to see what I might eventually fit into my budget.

Then it's off to the Henry wall to see if that .44 mag lever with the brass receiver is in stock yet. And the wish list grows ever longer.

Peace.

Seeing as this is the Semi-auto forum, I'm basing my answer on my semi-auto experience: one vote for CZ.

So far my CZ SP-01 has had an absolutely flawless record. About 30rds past the 1000rd mark and not a single malfunction of any kind. My Glock 19 had had a few failures to fire with a hard-primered, steel-cased brand and I do think that it had had a lighter spring installed, so perhaps that was the cause.

So not quite like-for-like comparison but that is my personal experience.

CZ CZ CZ

all of them

second is Taurus, nt for being exceptionally great guns, but they are putting out a reliable, if not some ridiculous designs, but value priced products. I really think they have turned the company around as of late

I also have a hard time picking only one.

For semi-auto, Sig, Colt, H&K, Ruger, S&W and Springfield all make guns I like and though I have no experience with them, CZ is starting to call out to me. That being said, I don't necessarily like all the guns any of them make.

If I have to narrow it down, I love the 1911 platform which all (except H&K offer). I also prefer a hammer in other platforms. Since I have no experience yet with CZ, I guess that will lead my vote to Sig.

Anyone wanna guess who I voted for? Hint: It's the oldest firearms company in continual existence.....Now if they'll just quit listening to fashion designers and worry with innovation, they'll last another 500 years.

Even without seeing your name, that's an easy one.

Glock, CZ, Smith.. I like all these brands (and Glock is my "go to" pistol).. with that being said, can't argue with Ruger as a the top brand. They stand by their product no matter what, they listen to the consumer, and they sell products at a reasonable price (cutting corners only where it won't sacrifice NOTICABLE quality).

I don't even own a Ruger pistol at the moment, but wouldn't hesitate to put a Ruger bumpersticker on my vehicle for an instant..
