Hey guys, I'm new here so forgive me if this has been posted before. There are many firearm manufacturers that produce quality firearms, but each manufacturer has something different to offer. Some folks may prefer a certain grip angle, frame material, grip texture, etc. Which manufacturer is your favorite? I just realized I added Taurus twice, that was a mistake, I'm not implying in any way that I'm a fan.

I buy guns for a specific reason, to do a specific job or fill a specific role, and I don't pay attention to the brand. I always want accuracy, 100% reliability, and reasonable price. Using that criteria, I find that I now own 10 guns and 4 of them are Smith and Wesson.

I have far, FAR more Smith & Wesson than anything and when I'm shopping, Smith & Wesson it what I am most interested in seeing and finding.

With that said...
I pretty much have no interest in new guns, almost across the board. I live entirely in the world of used guns whenever I can and I am simply not chasing down much that has come out in the last 5-10 years.

To that end...
I also truly do not believe that Smith & Wesson makes firearms to the level of quality that I have come to see, know and expect from the many S&W that I own. I believe that they are simply not as good as they used to be and I have as much interest in *NEW* Smith & Wesson products as I do in most of the other brands you listed in the poll.

I would have to say CZ at this point, though Sigs come in second place and I have a growing affection for the old metal S&Ws

Until recently I would have said Sig Sauer, but since buying my first PX4 Beretta has taken over the top spot for me.

I have half of the ones on your list.
I have 8 Colts, and 8 Smith & Wesson.
Of those two, it's really hard to pick, but the Colt Python six inch won, with the S&W Model 27-2 three and a half inch a close second, but it's gaining fast as a favorite firearm to shoot.
And when we get open carry in Texas it may be a EDC.

This thread can include any firearm the listed manufacturers produce. Actually, if you prefer a manufacturer not listed, feel free to mention it in the thread. Unfortunately, I mistakenly mentioned Taurus twice, I didn't realize it until the poll was submitted.
