Which lever gun in 357/38

I have a Rossi 357/38 20" stainless that I love. Accurate and eats everything (after a short break in period). Weighs six pounds and you can't beat the price. Highly recommend.

I have a 20" stainless 357mag Interarms import Rossi 92 (pre-Taurus) that is one of my favorite rifles to shoot. I found it used on gunbroker about 3 or 4 years ago.

I like a loading gate on a Lever Action, can top it off at any time, unlike the Henry with it's 22LR rifle style tube loading port.

Seems most recent Rossi 92's needs some fluff and buff to make them perfect. http://www.stevesgunz.com/ has that covered.

You might look for a Browning 92 on the used market (gunbroker). I hear those are pretty nice.

I purchased the Rossi 92 in .38/.357, 16 inch barrel, earlier this year. It's fun to shoot, large loop. I'm glad I bought it, but, if I had to do it over again, I would select a different brand for one reason only, you can't break the thing down unless you really enjoy a puzzle and a good deal of time at the bench. I use a Boresnake but it drives me crazy that I can't clean the thing in the traditional manner.

Best of luck with your shopping.

Lots of good options.

Looks like online is the only way to go, I haven't seen a wide selection locally. Well, not in the ones I am looking at.
