Which is your most reliable pistol?

Colt M1911A1, no malfunctions or parts breakage in two-and-a-half years of near-weekly IPSC matches. That's maybe 8,000-10,000 rounds.

I gotta ask, who thought to look in the fish tank? was there a strange "glock-like" mound of gravel in there or what?[/quote]

Our crime scene techs are really good. I have seen them look for days and recover a single strand of hair out of a house or locate an item that has been tossed out of a moving car somewhere along a 20 mile stretch of highway and even a bag droped out of a cessna 172 just south of Death Valley once!

Have had my Sig 226 for 11 years w/o it ever going click, when it should have gone bang! 9mm may not be my first choice, but the gun is hard to beat. Next would be my Glock 23.

USP40C - over 6K rounds in 2 1/2 years. Over 4K of those were reloads, some nasty-looking brass with only 2 FTFs. Both were ammo related based on inspecting the stuck round. The USP40C digests all factory I've tried including, Rem Golden Sabers, Speer Gold Dots and Triton QSs, along with assorted practice ammo: Speer Lawman, PMC, Magtech, UMC, and even 3-D Lead.

"Revolvers don't count."

See? That sort of proves that a revolver is more reliable than a semi-auto. In a class by itself!

OK, Thompson Contender. Never a misfeed. Never a misfire. Never.

My Glock 17 has never malfunctioned, for that matter neither has my Glock 19.

I have a Browning HP made by FN during WWII. I have been shooting it for 55 years with all sorts of ammo with maybe one bobble every few years. I usually shoot reloads. Probably a box every other month as an average. 55 times 6 times 50 = 16,500

Glock 19 and belivie it or not, Colt Stainless Officers model (Feeds empty cases). I don't own a gun for to long if it is not ultra reliable.

I have four autolaoders that have NEVER malfunctioned:

a) Sig P-226 (.357 Sig and .40 S&W)
b) Sig P-220 (.45 ACP)
c) H&K USP .45 Tactical
d) Glock 23C
